Grit & Grace is Grace House’s annual motorcycle safety and awareness ride. The journey spans more than 100 miles, mirroring the long trek many families take to access urgent, lifesaving medical care in Western New York. Grace House was inspired by a young man from Buffalo named David, who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident. As he fought for his life, his family found refuge in a nonprofit guest house like ours so they could remain close to his bedside. David’s remarkable recovery – and his family’s experience of having a safe, supportive place to stay – became the inspiration for both our mission and the heart behind this event.
