Rider Report: Meet Jordan

If you could hop on your bike tomorrow and ride anywhere in the world, where would you go? For Jordan, the answer is simple: Sturgis, South Dakota. The Black Hills have been calling his name for years, and he’s ready to answer with throttle wide open.

Of course, not everything on the road is smooth. Jordan’s biker pet peeve? When cars cut off biker groups. “It kills the flow,” he says. (And let’s be honest, nothing makes a group of riders grumble faster.)

Now, every rider needs a soundtrack. Jordan’s theme song? “Authority Song” by John Mellencamp. It’s got that no-nonsense, rebellious energy that fits the outlaw spirit just right.

Long rides also call for fuel — the human kind. Jordan’s go-to gas station snack? Beef jerky. Because obviously, protein beats potato chips when you’re clocking miles. Speaking of potatoes though… when asked how he’d like to be cooked if he were one, Jordan answered without hesitation: mashed. Make of that what you will.

Off the bike, Jordan knows how to slow things down. You can often find him fly fishing on the river, a pastime that’s as much about patience as it is about catching fish.

But here’s where Jordan gets serious. For him, riding isn’t just about the open road — it’s about community.

“Being able to ride and give back to the community has given me a whole new perspective. The freedom that comes with riding on an open back road is a similar type of freedom that this organization is striving to provide to those that feel helpless. I’m blessed to have this opportunity.”

Funny, grounded, and dedicated — that’s Jordan. Whether he’s coasting over rolling hills on his bike or casting a fly into the river, he’s a rider who embodies what it means to live free and give back.
